We stopped by Giardino Trattoria & Pizzeria around 3 PM on a Sunday without a reservation. I’d recommend making one, since it was pretty busy. We ended up at the bar, and honestly, it turned out to be a great experience. Our bartender, Luisa, was wonderful, really attentive and friendly. The drinks were on point, and we really enjoyed the medallions, which I’d definitely recommend. The vodka pasta, though, wasn’t our favorite. It could have been better. The atmosphere was mellow and relaxing, perfect for a chill late lunch. The one downside was the restroom situation. For a restaurant of that volume, having just2 unisex restrooms isn’t ideal. There was a line when I went. Expanding that would make a big difference. All in all, great drinks, good food, and a very relaxing vibe. We’d come back. I think, a solid4 out of 5 stars.

I typically sit at the bar here as I often go by myself. The servers and bartenders are always friendly and attentive. The pasta here (I like their bolognese sauce) is outstanding, and I can honestly say I've never had a bad meal here.

It was my family and I first time coming here and oh my will we be back! You walk in and see the exposed brick work the layout and then the open kitchen everything was breathtaking. We ordered their Ciao Bella, espresso martini and the calamari to start. The drinks were fantastic but the calamari, one of the best that we have ever had. It was seasoned perfectly and the basil sauce they gave you was amazing. We order the eggplant dinner, rigatoni alla vodka and I got to one pasta that starts with an O with sausage. Unfortunately I can't pronounce it nor do I have the receipt infringement of me. Naturally i also needed to try the pizza, i got the sausage and broccolini which was fantastic. When I say fresh I mean fresh. Everything is delicious and I found out it is a stratch kitchen which is the best. I finished off with a espresso martini affogato. Compliments to the bartender and the Chefs and cooks. They did their big one with this. My only "complaint" is that I wish they offered foccacia and oil as you sit. But I do love my carbs so maybe it's just me. If you are looking for a restaurant in the Aurora downtown area this is the one.

Pizza #171 to find the best sausage pizza. Giardino's has a typical Neapolitan pie. Their crust is on the higher moisture side leaving a nice soft, supple chew but missing the crispiness. I like the fact that their crust is a little thicker in the middle but there still is a major flop. One of the tastiest, lightest San Marzano sauces to date. Excellent. Not a fan of the crumble sausage and minimal cheese topping leaving behind pools of sauce. Not a good topping to dough proportion / ratio. Wife loves the arancini appetizer.

We were served by the manager and had a great conversation and we ordered the meatballs and the bruschetta. The best Bruschetta I ever had. I ordered the shrimp diavola, and joked with the manager, Juan, that it needed to be spicier, but was excellent. My wife had the medallions and my son had the salmon. All 10/10 in taste and you can just watch the employees moving back and forth in dinner service and tell this restaurant is well managed. We are coming back. Also, for those with coats, the booths have coat hooks.
